Thanks for logging on to Eagle Creek Custom Etched! Here at our studio nestled in the tall pines of Lincoln County, New Mexico, you'll be greeted by Kiss-Me Kate and Marvelous Mike, our rare Icelandic Sheepdogs. And you are also likely to catch glimpses of our three "rescued" cats – Dude, Wingnut and Mitts. Down in the meadow, a bull elk may be bugling or a flock of wild turkeys will be gobbling. The sky will be a radiant blue with huge white clouds and bright sun. And of course, we will be working in our large studio!
We started Eagle Creek Custom Etched because we love animals and enjoy working with them at our side. Plus we love living and working in the beautiful forest. So when we - two chemists with graduate degrees - reached fifty five, we sold our California corporations and moved to the mountains of New Mexico to start a custom laser etching business.
Karen says,
"laser etching is a combination between architecture and engineering, a natural fit for a detailed scientist like myself. I do the design work. Will's an expert in sales and marketing as well as a scientist and great mechanic! Industrial laser applications have long been a speciality for him."
